In a very short span of time, CIX has managed to worm themselves into my heart and into my top ten favorite Kpop groups list, and they are definitely there to stay!
Hello Strange Place is their second mini album, which is just as solid as their first one. However, in this one, they interestingly decided to talk about social issues, and in particular, school violence and how oppressive the current education system can be. This was prefaced by a set of short films, which are all connected to each other, that talk about these things as well. This was a pretty bold choice for CIX, but they pulled it off well! Aside from their title track, Numb, their b-sides were great as well.
