The Archive is your one stop shop where you will find links to all the posts and reviews I’ve done so far, per category. Each category (Kdrama, Jdrama, Movie, etc) is sorted by how I rated them. (This page is a work in progress, will be updating the other categories soon.)
The Rating System
A : Had My Attention The Entire Time
These are the dramas/shows/movies/books/seasons of a tv show that grabbed my attention the whole time. These are the ones that are flawless in my eyes in terms of how it was written, directed, acted, etc. These are also the ones that I consider as classics, legendary, and hold a very special place in my heart.
A- : Grabbed My Attention The Entire Time, But W/Minor Flaws
These are the ones that were ALMOST perfect. They just had some minor flaws in them which prevented it from becoming an A. These are also the ones that I would definitely watch or read over and over again.
B : Solid Good Watches/Reads
These are solid and good watches or reads, and are enjoyable even if they do have minor flaws. Some of these also needs some time to get used to before you start enjoying it.
B- : Solid Watches/Reads that Had Moments that Underwhelmed
These are the ones that are still enjoyable, but there were definite moments which had several issues that you needed to overcome. Watches like these include those in which there were a lot of pacing issues that dragged the show or movie down, or books which felt a little draggy as you kept on reading.
C : Didn’t Grab My Attention, But Had Enough to Keep Me Going
These are the ones that I wasn’t so sure about at first, and didn’t work for me, but had more than one element that made me still interested in seeing how things would pan out. For example, I would hang on if the world building was interesting, or the acting is good, or the characters are still interesting even though it wasn’t well written.
C- : Didn’t Grab My Attention & Was Disappointing
These are the ones that didn’t work out for me, was disappointing, but not horrible enough for my taste for me to drop it altogether. A lot of the ones that end up here started out with so much promise but later on devolved into something I didn’t like anymore.
D : Dropped or Dropped If I Knew How To Drop It
To be honest, I didn’t really know how to drop a drama, movie or a book if I gradually lost interest in it. However, I’m learning to do that. So, in the future, all my dropped ones will end up here. But for now, I’ll be putting the ones I wish I had dropped here.
